This is the legendary cruiser of the October Revolution. As one of the warships of the revolutionary Baltic fleet, Aurora took an active part in the revolutionary events of 1917. On October 25, 1917, the cruiser gave a blank shot — signal for the storming of the “Winter Palace”. Since 1923 the cruiser became a training ship. In 1948 it was anchored for good in the Neva River and made over to the Leningrad Nakhimov Naval Cadet School.
